Image to cookie cutter
Turn a picture into a cookie cutter
A kid's drawing, a logo, a coloring page or a photo of a doodle: upload it and get a 3D-printable cookie cutter traced from its outline.
How it works
Upload the picture
PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 2 MB. It is checked again on our server before tracing.
Check the outline
Turn on the eye to see your picture under the cutter, then set the size.
Download and print
Get the STL and print it. Several shapes in one picture make a set.
Pictures that make great cutters
- Children's drawings, for a cookie they drew themselves
- Business and bakery logos, for branded cookies
- Coloring pages and clip art with a clear outline
- Party themes: a name's first letter, a mascot, a baby shower onesie
One picture, a whole set
Put several cookies in one picture and each separate shape becomes its own cutter, opened together as a set. Pick which ones to download, or download them all as one zip.
Draw it yourself instead
Have a photo but no clean outline? The Create studio traces edges from a photo with a click, and you can draw or fix the outline with a pen. Every closed outline becomes a cutter.

Can I use a photo?
Photos with a clear subject on a plain background work. For busy photos, import it into the Create studio, where Select edge traces the outline you click and you can tidy it with the pen.
Why does the inside of my drawing not show on the cutter?
A cookie cutter only cuts the outer shape. Inner lines are for decorating. Turn on the eye in the viewer to see your drawing inside the cutter as a guide.
Which file types can I upload?
PNG, JPG and WebP pictures up to 2 MB. STL files up to 20 MB can be uploaded too, to resize an existing cutter.
Is it free?
Making and previewing a cutter is free, with no account. Downloading a single cutter needs a free account. Free members also get 3 set downloads, 3 named cutters and 3 box plans every 30 days; Premium ($12.99 a month or $99 a year) makes those unlimited.
